Tax Exemption

DTF Bank is required to collect sales tax in the following states. If your business is located in one of these states and has the necessary registrations and authorizations to make tax-exempt or resale purchases under your state’s laws, you may apply for tax-exempt status to make sales tax–free purchases on our website.

Before starting the process, please make sure you have a customer account on our website. If you're a new customer and don't have an account yet, go ahead and sign up first. An account is required for us to grant you tax-exempt purchasing privileges at the end of the process.

To request exemption, simply follow the steps outlined below for your state to submit your resale or exemption certificate along with the required supporting documentation.

Step 1: Fill out the applicable resale or tax exemption certificate

Select the tab for your state to view the necessary resale or exemption certificate and instructions.
