What type of hydraulic oil do I need?

The Pressly Hydro1620 operates on AW-46 hydraulic oil.We recommend AW-46 because it delivers smoother, quieter, and more reliable performance.Please note: The hydraulic oil is not included and must be purchased separetely. Fill the tank with 5 gallons of AW-46 before first use.

Is the hydraulic motor silent during operation?

Yes. The hydraulic motor and press are completely silent while in idle mode.During active pressing, the machine produces only minimal noise (approximately 60-65 dB) from the hydraulic system. Since it does not require an external air compressor (unlike pneumatic presses), the unit remains fully silent when not pressing.

What is the platen size? Are the platens changeable or threadable?

The Hydro1620 features two platens, each measuring 15.7 x 19.7 inches (40 x 50 cm). The platens are not changeable, as they are securely mounted with bolts to withstand up to 1102 lbs of hydraulic pressure. Yes, the platens are threadable. You can easily thread garments from the far edge and press them in an upside-down orientation if needed.

How is the Heat Press Machine shipped, and what is the estimated shipping time?

The HYDRO1620 ships in a fully enclosed wooden crate via LTL freight carriers. HYDRO1620 Hydraulic Heat Press orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days from our warehouse in Houston, TX. Please note that LTL carriers do not offer pickup services on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), so orders placed over the weekend will generally ship the following Monday or Tuesday. Once your heat press has shipped, you will receive tracking information by email and can monitor your shipment directly through the carrier’s website. While we process orders promptly, often the same day and immediately arrange an LTL pickup, pickup and delivery times may be affected during peak seasons such as Christmas or other high-volume business periods for LTL carriers. We expect the carrier to pick up and deliver your order in a timely manner, but occasional delays during these periods are possible.
