Benefits

UV DTF A&B Film Roll delivers sharp, high-resolution prints with fast UV curing times. Its strong adhesion ensures prints resist cracking, peeling, and fading even after multiple washes and exposure to sunlight. The 15.7" width allows efficient printing of larger designs or gang sheets, improving production speed and reducing waste.

Usage Instructions

Load the film roll into a UV-compatible DTF printer and print your designs with UV inks. Cure the print with UV light to dry instantly. Transfer the design onto the substrate using a heat press at the manufacturer’s recommended temperature and pressure settings, usually around 160–175°C for 10–15 seconds. Always perform test prints to optimize results.

What is UV Direct-to-Film A&B Film Roll - 15.7" 328' and how does it work?
UV Direct-to-Film A&B Film Roll is a dual-layer film designed for Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing using UV-curable inks. The “A&B” refers to the two layers of the film that work together to enhance ink adhesion and durability during transfer. The 15.7-inch width and 328-foot length make it ideal for large-scale or batch printing. During printing, UV inks are applied to the film and cured instantly with UV light, creating vibrant, durable designs. The cured print is then heat-pressed onto textiles or hard surfaces, resulting in high-quality transfers with excellent wash and wear resistance.

What types of materials are compatible with this film roll?
The UV Direct-to-Film A&B Film Roll is compatible with a wide variety of substrates. It works well on natural fabrics like cotton, synthetic materials such as polyester, and blended fabrics. In addition, thanks to the strong adhesion properties and UV curing, it can be used on hard surfaces like plastics, wood, and certain metals. This versatility allows businesses to create custom apparel as well as promotional items and hard goods.

What are the main advantages of using UV Direct-to-Film A&B Film Roll?
This film roll offers multiple benefits including fast drying times due to UV curing, which increases production speed. Its dual-layer design ensures strong ink adhesion and durable transfers that resist washing, cracking, peeling, and fading. The wider 15.7" film width increases printing efficiency by accommodating larger designs or multiple smaller prints in one go, reducing waste. The vibrant and sharp colors produced enhance the overall quality and appeal of finished products.

Instructions

Prepare the Printer: Load the Type A film with the adhesive side facing up at the back of the UV DTF printer. Load the Type B film at the front of the printer. The loading order or position may vary depending on the printer model, so refer to your printer's user manual for specific instructions.

Connect the Films: Ensure that the Type A and Type B films are properly aligned and connected. The films should be secured together, with the Type A film feeding from the back and the Type B film positioned at the front for proper transfer.

Print the Design: Print your design onto the Type A film. The printer will automatically apply the Type B laminating film over the printed design during the printing process.

Peel off Type A Film: Once the print has been transferred to the substrate, carefully remove the Type A film, leaving the design securely attached.

Transfer the Design: Apply pressure to the transfer to ensure full adherence, then peel off the Type B film to reveal your completed design.

Storage Instructions: Store the UV DTF films in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the films in their original packaging or in a sealed, protective container to prevent dust or contaminants from affecting the film surface. Ensure the film rolls are kept upright and stored horizontally to avoid damage or warping.

Disposal Instructions: Dispose of any used film, including the release liner and protective films, in accordance with local regulations for plastic and film waste. Do not dispose of the films in general household waste if your local area has a recycling program for plastic films. Consider recycling if possible to reduce environmental impact.
