Description

DTF Printhead The Pinnacle of Digital Textile Printing

The Epson i3200-A1 Water-based DTF Printhead is the industry standard for high-speed, high-quality Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing. This authorized PrecisionCore printhead is engineered for reliability and extreme accuracy. It is the preferred choice for professional garment decorators who require retail-quality results. With its ability to produce sharp details and vibrant colors, the i3200-A1 transforms any standard DTF printer into a high-performance production powerhouse.

Advanced PrecisionCore TFP Technology

The "i" in i3200 stands for Inovative. This head utilizes Epson’s proprietary PrecisionCore technology. Unlike traditional piezo heads, this technology delivers perfectly round ink droplets at incredible speeds.

1. High-Density Nozzle Configuration

The Epson i3200-A1 features 3,200 nozzles arranged in four rows. This high density allows for significantly faster printing speeds compared to older models like the XP600 or 4720. You can achieve high-resolution output even at production speeds, cutting your turnaround time in half.

2. Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT)

One of the standout features is its ability to spray different sizes of ink droplets. By varying the drop size, the printhead creates smooth gradients and fine highlights without visible graininess. This is essential for printing complex photographic designs on apparel.

3. All-Memory Compatibility

The Epson I3200-A1 Water-based DTF Printhead is a "water-based" head, meaning it is specifically optimized for DTF pigment inks. Its internal coating is resistant to the unique binders found in textile inks, reducing the risk of internal corrosion and extending the lifespan of the head.

Why the i3200-A1 is the Best Choice for DTF

Professional print shops choose the Epson i3200-A1 because it balances three critical factors: speed, resolution, and durability.

  • Superior Resolution: Capable of reaching up to 600 DPI (native) or much higher with multi-pass settings.

  • Cost Efficiency: While the initial cost is higher than entry-level heads, its durability and ink efficiency result in a lower "cost per print" over time.

  • Vibrant CMYK + White: The head handles the high-viscosity white ink used in DTF printing with ease, preventing the clogs often seen in smaller desktop-style heads.

Maintenance Tips for Your Epson Printhead

To protect your investment and ensure the longevity of your Epson I3200-A1 Water-based DTF Printhead, proper maintenance is non-negotiable:

  1. Daily Wet Caps: Never let the head sit dry. Use high-quality capping stations to keep the nozzle plate moist.

  2. Use Filtered Ink: Always use premium DTF inks. Low-quality pigments contain large particles that can permanently block the micro-nozzles.

  3. Temperature Control: Keep your workspace between 20°C and 28°C. Extreme heat can change ink viscosity and cause the head to misfire.

  4. Regular Cleaning: Perform automated head cleanings at the end of every shift to prevent ink from curing on the surface.
